    LOVE IN THIS MOMENT

    EMBRACES YOU TOTALLY

    LOVE BELONGS TO YOU

    1.

    THAT SLIGHT BREEZE OPENED

    A PEEK INTO MYSTERY

    WITHIN WHAT SEEMS REAL

    2.

    DESCENDING THE CROSS

    TOTALLY VULNERABLE

    BEYOND SURRENDER

    3.

    THROUGH THE MYSTERY

    INTO THE REALITY

    LOVE FINDS COMMUNION

    4.

    COMMUNION IS ALL

THE BEGINNING AND THE END (and the beginning)

    THERE IS NOTHING MORE

In the swirl of life's dramas, it's good to take a moment to attend to one's essential consciousness (OEC).

The neat thing about OEC is its simplicity, its cleanliness, its quiet.  OEC just sees what is, without any reaction whatever.  Just clarity.  It's not encumbered...

    THIS MORNING SINGS ME
    A RISING CHORUS OF SUN
    A CLAMOR OF LOVE

    Why not?

    ON AND ON THEY ROLL
    BENEATH THE ENDESS SKY
    ON AND ON
    ONE BY ONE
    TOWARD THE DISTANT
    WAITING SAND

    THEN, SO NEAR
    THEIR RECEDING KIN
    RAISE THEM UP
    ONE BY ONE
    TO A GLORIO...

Death is not in my sights now
    Nor ’round the corner
But nearer than it once was

Here late in life’s long end game
    What plays are left us?
Joy friends love joy friends love FIN

    Even our blackest blunders
    Dark fears and regret
Can’t scare away love from now.
