Will there be an online stream to view Carolyn's memorial service?

Yes, absolutely. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom link has been sent out via email. If you are subscribed, a member, or have been receiving our email updates then you should have received the Zoom link in your inbox. If you have not received the link please email memorial@carolynconger.com and we'll send one out to you right away. There is no charge to participate via Zoom.


Will Carolyn's memorial service be recorded?

Yes, the service will be recorded via Zoom. The video will be shared via email and posted to the website as soon as it has been processed.

• Where will Carolyn's memorial be located?

Asilomar Hotel and Conference Grounds (Grace Dodge Chapel)

• When will Carolyn's memorial take place?

Carolyn's memorial weekend will start at 4 pm, on Friday 9/15, and end at 12 noon, on Sunday 9/17. The memorial service itself will take place on Saturday 9/16, from 2 - 4 pm. All times are listed in Pacific Standard Time.

Is the memorial free?

Yes, the memorial service itself is free—although Asilomar charges a $12 day fee if you’re not a hotel guest. To purchase a day pass simply visit the front desk before the service. Tickets are required for all other events and meals to share the cost.

• Is my hotel room included in the memorial ticket/s price?

No, all hotel accommodations must be booked separately with Asilomar directly.


• Can I purchase tickets for events/meals individually?

Yes, all tickets for various events/meals may be purchased on their own to best fit your schedule. On the memorial page, under the Tickets Options section, click "View more price options." Once the options have expanded, click the + for the number of tickets that you require for each event/meal.

• What does the All Weekend ticket include?

The All Weekend ticket includes all meals and events listed in the schedule.

• Can I eat at Asilomar on my own?

Yes, of course, but to eat with the group in the dining hall, you must purchase a ticket/s in advance. The only other option at Asilomar is Phoebe’s Café, which offers sandwiches, salads, quiche, coffee, pastries, and other light meal selections.

• I donated, and plan on attending Carolyn's memorial, can my donation be applied towards event/meal tickets?

Yes, definitely. Early donors should have automatically received a coupon code credit in their email. If you made a donation and would like a credit to attend memorial events/meals, please email memorial@carolynconger.com.


• If I am no longer able to attend, will I be able to cancel with a refund?

Yes, full refunds can be provided until 8/31/2023. After that point, we cannot issue refunds as all payments will be submitted to Asilomar.

Can I mail my memorial ticket/s payment?

Yes, please mail checks to:

Along with an enclosed letter specifying what meals and events you plan on attending. Also, please email us at memorial@carolynconger.com to let us know that you will be attending.

I would like to share a hotel room, is anyone else looking to share lodging?

Yes, others are looking to share hotel accommodations at Asilomar. Post on the message board to connect with others to share a room or carpool.


Do I need to bring a copy of my tickets with me?

Yes, we ask that you either bring a printout of your PDF tickets or have a digital version accessible on your phone. Your PDF tickets can be found attached to your purchase confirmation email.
